Q: What electronics do you offer?
A: I use a wide variety of electronics in my builds. I like pickups by Bill Lawrence and Carey Nordstrand and pre-amps by GraphTech, Jim Keen and John East. If you have something specific in mind, let us know.
Q: What wood choices are available?
A: I like the build qualities of lightweight southern swamp ash and Honduras mahogany. When it comes to custom tops, the sky is the limit. Burls like buckeye, redwood and walnut are my favorites. There are many, many options available in that regard. I have some very unique boards in reserve.
Q: What styles of guitars and basses do you offer?
A: On the treble side, we offer the One Four Five, which is based on traditional, classic styling. I dabble with custom designs and will make them available to the product line as the inspiration arises.
On the bass side of things, the options are a bit more varied. Fretted and fretless models are available in all configurations of four, five and six-string designs. The Zajj Deluxe is our flagship design, and offers the most in terms of customization. If you'd like a more traditional design, we're happy to accommodate in that regard.
Q: So, I'm interested. What can I expect in dealing with you?
A: At Sheridan Guitars, we strive for the utmost in customer satisfaction. That means we'll work with you to build you the instrument you desire, and deserve. With that in mind, it's important to note pricing will vary from instrument to instrument and pricing is subject to change.
A deposit of fifty percent of the instrument price is required to get a place in the queue. Every attempt will be made to expedite an order, but I build these one at a time. Instruments ahead of your order take priority, and instrument finish (poly, nitro, oil) will have a bearing on completion time, so plan accordingly.
